In Buryatia, the police eliminated the bear that came to the cafe, five shots

Employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Kabansky district of Buryatia shot the bear, which in the evening of October 15 sneaked into the backyard of the cafe and behaved aggressively. A signal about an unexpected taiga guest came to the duty unit from the administrator of the institution - he saw a large predator on the territory of the cafe.

Arriving at the scene, police found the following picture: the bear roared loudly and posed a real threat to people nearby. One of the employees used a service weapon and neutralized the beast with five shots. None of the people were injured, said the press service of the Ministry of internal Affairs in Buryatia.

The department stressed that the use of weapons was a forced measure - otherwise an aggressive predator could attack visitors and staff of the cafe.
