President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko said that both sides intend to turn the high level of political understanding between Minsk and Ulaanbaatar into significant economic projects.
The Head of State stressed that the signed documents, primarily the roadmap for cooperation between Belarus and Mongolia for 2027-2029, will give a strong impetus to this direction.
He also said that together with his colleague, we carefully reviewed the progress on the agreements reached in Ulaanbaatar in 2024. Certain areas, such as food supplies, have advanced significantly. Bilateral economic exchange has embarked on a growth path, although its considerable potential has yet to be fully realized.
On Monday, Minsk signed instruments of ratification of the Treaty on Friendly Relations and Cooperation between Belarus and Mongolia, and adopted a roadmap for the development of cooperation in the field of agriculture in 2027-2029. The bilateral agencies signed agreements on the development of sports interaction, a document on mutual recognition of the status of authorized economic operators, as well as a memorandum of understanding on accreditation.
