The court considered the materials submitted by the Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee of Russia in the Kostroma region sufficient for a conviction against the former head of the fire and rescue unit responsible for the protection of the village of Kadyi. He was found guilty of exceeding official powers (Part 1 of Art. 286 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).
During the investigation and in court, it was found that in the period from September to December 2022, the convict, while in the specified position, used his official capabilities and organized the preparation of documents on the bonus of five employees of the fire department, and later started to require them to transfer part of these funds.
