Children of Kostroma teachers will be enrolled in kindergartens first of all

In the Kostroma region, measures are being introduced to strengthen the prestige of the teaching profession and create more comfortable conditions for its work. One innovation gives teachers an advantage in enrolling children in municipal kindergartens.

The child of the teacher will be able to get into the kindergarten, which is most convenient for parents. This will give teachers more freedom to plan their time and schedule. To exercise the right to benefits, it is enough to present a copy of the certificate or a certificate from work.

If there are no vacant places in the chosen garden, the authorized structures should promptly offer the family other educational organizations where there are places.

The application itself is made extremely simple. Documents can be transferred in person - through the MFC or education management bodies - or in electronic format on the portal "State Services".

To date, more than four thousand education workers are using regional support measures. Payments are provided for students who have concluded contracts on targeted training. Young professionals are given a monthly allowance. The “Zemsky Teacher” program is still working. At the initiative of the Governor in the region held a competition “I am a teacher”, and its winners receive 500 thousand rubles. This year, additional prizes were awarded to teachers who prepared winners and prize-winners of the All-Russian School Olympiad. For almost a year, the “Teacher Card” project has been operating in the region, giving teachers the opportunity to visit museums and theaters for free together with students.
