The murder of a pregnant Minsk woman Tatiana Martishchenko: the details of the tragedy

In social networks, the discussion of the terrible tragedy that shocked the whole of Belarus continues. The story of the disappearance of 43-year-old Minsk woman Tatyana Martishchenko, who was six months pregnant, ended in the most terrible way. Details were told in the project “Alarm button” on the ONT channel.

The woman stopped communicating on September 7. The first alarm was struck by her 21-year-old daughter, who urgently flew from Moscow. Volunteers of the Angel search and rescue team and the capital police quickly joined the large-scale search. The mother of the missing woman was also worried - her heart initially told her that a disaster had happened.

Criminal investigation officers worked professionally and in record time – literally in a day – established the chronology of events and came to the suspect. He was a 38-year-old man with whom the missing woman was in a relationship. During interrogations, the man confessed to what he had done and described in cold blood the details of the massacre. As it turned out, the motive for the brutal murder was a hidden love triangle: the Minsk man was officially married to another woman, against which another conflict broke out between him and the pregnant Tatiana.

During the quarrel, the suspect inflicted several fatal stabs on the woman with a knife. To hide the traces of the crime, he thoroughly cleaned the apartment, hid the body in a large bag, bought a shovel in the store and took the victim out of town. Law enforcement officers found that the attacker buried a cohabitant with their unborn son under a bridge in the forest, throwing her phone and keys along the way. After that, without any emotions, he returned home to his legitimate wife.

This shocking brutality literally blew up the Belarusian Internet. Social media users still can’t believe that a man who, according to neighbors, two years beautifully cared for Tatiana, spent with her gender party, was capable of cold-blooded murder. A criminal case has been opened against the detainee, the investigation is ongoing.
