In Elsk as a result of an accident killed the driver of an electric bicycle

A fatal road accident occurred in Elsk on Lomonosov Street, writes sb.by.

While driving on the carriageway, the 45-year-old man on an electric bike began to turn left, despite a solid dividing lane of road markings. At the same time, the dangerous maneuver was made in the immediate vicinity of the Ford Transit minibus, which was traveling in a passing direction. There was a collision, as a result of which the cyclist suffered serious injuries, with which he was taken to hospital. However, doctors could not save the man.

An electric bicycle is a high-risk vehicle. When driving on the carriageway, you must clearly and in advance give signals about your maneuvers, and before turning or rebuilding - make sure of safety. Drivers are urged to be more attentive to two-wheeled participants. E-bikes and cyclists are less visible on the road, especially in dark and blind areas.
