There are 2.3 thousand unemployed in Chuvashia. This is 0.4% of the working population

The situation in the labor market remains stable. As of October 26, 2026, 2,319 people were registered as unemployed. The registered unemployment rate was 0.4% of the labor force.

Since the beginning of the year, 5,878 people have been employed in the republic. In addition, 11,460 minors aged 14 to 18 were provided with temporary employment.

According to Chuvashstat, the overall unemployment rate in the region, calculated according to the methodology of the International Labor Organization, averaged 1.7% in June-August 2026.
