The investigative department for the Leninsky district of Tomsk of the regional investigative department of the Investigative Committee of Russia conducts a procedural check on the death of a 60-year-old man in the Tomsk district.
According to preliminary data, on the evening of October 23, 2026, the man along with two friends was fishing on the Ob River near the village of Polovinka, Tomsk district. At some point, the fishermen dispersed along the shore, and returning, they found the body of a drowned man in the water near the shore.
Investigators are conducting a set of verification measures aimed at establishing all the circumstances and causes of the incident. Based on the results of the inspection, a procedural decision will be made.
