Compared to August, the number of issuances in St. Petersburg increased by 55%, the volume - by 79%. The city took the third position among the regions, second only to Moscow (10.66 thousand loans for 80.4 billion rubles) and the Moscow region (8.15 thousand for 52.33 billion).
It is noted that the average mortgage in St. Petersburg is 6.19 million rubles.
St. Petersburg also rose by one line in the rating of housing affordability in mortgages, taking 71st place. In 2026, 13% of households were able to afford an apartment at a market interest rate.
