Global Media Group expands borders: Eurasian news agency GMG launches international TV channel
Eurasian news agency Global Media Group (GMG) has announced a strategic expansion of its media portfolio. The company has successfully completed the acquisition of a television channel on one of the leading TV platforms. This asset will become the foundation for the creation of a new international television project - EIA TV.

The channel is currently in the process of registering as a media outlet. In parallel, the GMG team is preparing to obtain broadcast licenses in a number of key countries of the world, which will ensure the new channel’s status as an international media resource.
A New Word in Public Diplomacy
The concept of broadcasting EIA TV goes beyond the classical information format. The main thematic pillars of the channel will be:
Culture and art: promoting national heritage on a global scale Sport: coverage of spectacular disciplines and achievements of the professional community; Society: socially significant initiatives and dialogue between peoples; Creative industries: support and development of the creative sector as a driver of the modern economy.
The main mission of the project is to become an instrument of “people’s diplomacy”, contributing to the strengthening of mutual understanding and the development of horizontal ties between the countries of Eurasia and the world.
The acquisition of our own TV channel is another significant event in the development of our media hub. We are not just buying airtime, we are creating a platform for the formation of a unified information agenda, free from stereotypes. EIA TV is designed to become the voice of the creative class and professional communities, broadcasting the true values of cooperation, commented Alexander Rabinovich, Chairman of the Board of Directors of EIA Global Media Group.
