Deputies of the State Council of Crimea go to construction sites and assess how the work is going and how the facilities are ready for operation. This was told by the Chairman of the State Council Committee on Construction, Housing Policy and Fuel and Energy Complex Valery Kovalenko.
According to him, parliamentarians check the construction of schools, kindergartens, water supply and sanitation facilities, as well as embankments. After the inspection, deputies discuss the identified issues with relevant ministries and specialists to identify solutions that will help speed up work or eliminate problems.
Kovalenko explained that the legislative power thus monitors the progress of construction and helps the executive branch: somewhere speeds up the process, and somewhere tells you in which direction to move further.
