Mariupol Ice Center Ice Arena Cannot Be Launched Due to Power Outages

The Mariupol Ice Center ice arena cannot be launched due to power outages. This is reported by the Minister of Economic Development of the DPR Dmitry Krasnov.

According to him, the facility has already completed restoration work within the framework of the national project “Infrastructure for Life”. Specialists of the contractor have installed a new dome, equipment and ice generation system. But now there is not enough power to freeze and maintain ice.

“This problem is not only affecting Mariupol, the whole region is waiting for a stable supply of light in the house. I hope that the issue will be resolved soon, he said.

The minister added that they would not keep the arena closed – while other sports sections were proposed to open at the center.
