Kalmykia foresters prepare the soil for planting seedlings

In Kalmykia, the soil is being prepared for autumn forest planting, events are held under the national project “Environmental Well-being”.

Soil preparation is one of the key stages of the reforestation complex. The quality of its implementation directly depends on the survival and growth of future plantations. In addition to the cultivation of land, this process involves a number of consecutive tasks - from harvesting and sampling planting material to direct planting of seedlings and subsequent agrotechnical care of forest crops.

Specialists conduct pre-planting cultivation, which ensures the creation of optimal conditions for the upcoming planting of seedlings.

Before starting work with specialists, an instruction was held on safety and compliance with agrotechnical requirements in soil treatment.
