Medical workers topped the rating of noble professions among Voronezh
Voronezh residents often associate the medical sphere with honesty, morality and readiness to help people

Voronezh residents often associate the medical sphere with honesty, morality and readiness to help people. So answered 28% of respondents to the survey conducted by the service SuperJob. The results of the study were presented on October 23.
Within the medical industry, citizens especially singled out ambulance specialists, obstetricians and surgeons. Two other categories received 12% of the vote – teachers and military personnel. Another 6% of respondents consider those who work in rescue services, fire protection and units of the Ministry of Emergency Situations to be the most selfless.
Less often, the study participants chose professions related to industry and technical areas. Miners, electricians, welders, builders and sailors were noted by 3% of respondents. A similar proportion of respondents named engineers, including specialists in design, technology, chemistry, energy and ecology.
The list of responses was broader than the main categories. Voronezh residents also mentioned volunteers, social workers, janitors and cleaners, representatives of aviation and astronautics, police, human rights defenders, journalists, librarians, scientists and farmers.
At the same time, not everyone adheres to a single idea of a noble profession. Nine percent of participants believe that honesty and dedication depend on the person, not on the job they choose. Another 7% believe that today there are no professions that can be called moral and honest.
The responses of men and women also differed. Men were more likely to give preference to military, rescue and engineers. Women, on the other hand, were much more likely to name health workers.
