- Today, the portrait of a minor participant in drug trafficking in Belarus has changed dramatically: they are no longer teenagers from dysfunctional families, Trusevich said. According to M. Trusevich, curators are subtle psychologists. They take advantage of their teenage desire for financial independence, their desire to buy expensive gadgets, branded clothes, or simply appear to be adults in the eyes of their peers. To manipulate the actions of an already held mortgagee, but who no longer wants to follow the instructions of curators, threats are often used based on the knowledge of his passport data and place of residence, which the teenagers themselves provide to attackers. They can also use the so-called sportsmen – those who punish the “guilty” drug couriers.
