Penza told about the main astronomical events of November
In November 2026, Russians are waiting for several astronomical events

In November 2026, the Russians are waiting for several astronomical events. This was told by the head of the Reshetnev University Observatory Sergey Veselkov.
In the night from 4 to 5 November you can see the South Taurids. The stream is characterized by low activity - about 5-10 meteors per hour. However, it is known for bright and slow cars.
According to Veselkov, in 2026 conditions for observations will be most favorable. The peak of activity falls on the waning sickle of the moon, the illumination of which will be only 14%.
The next event will be the mini-parade of planets on November 14. Veselkov said that Mercury, Venus, Mars and Jupiter will line up almost in one line and will be visible to the naked eye.
The main event of the month will be the full moon on November 24, known as the Beaver Moon. A supermoon is expected on this day. The moon will be in the constellation of Taurus and will appear larger and brighter than usual.
