Representatives of the Department of Internal Affairs of the Brest Regional Executive Committee took part in the republican action “Apple Garden”

Members of the primary organization “Belarusian Union of Women” of the Department of Internal Affairs of the Brest Oblast Executive Committee, headed by the chairman of the primary school Svetlana Romanyuk and also pupils of the military-patriotic clubs of the Brest garrison “Dubrovsk Fort” and “Pribuzhye” took part in the republican action “Apple Garden”, writes sb.by.

According to the Department of Information and Public Relations of the Internal Affairs Department of the Brest Regional Executive Committee, the participants of the action went to the Brest district with a friendly team. Arriving in OJSC “Ostromechevo”, activists of the Belarusian Union of Women helped to harvest apples, and the younger generation took a tour of the garden, laid by the technology of intensive gardening. By the way, in the spring here, the fair sex took part in the planting of trees.

As the participants noted, such events are more than just a good deed. This is a living example of the continuity of generations, unity and common care for their native land, where elders convey to young people respect for work, love for their country and its traditions. And the joint work of police officers, public women and young patriots clearly shows that real strength lies in unity and responsibility for the future.

More than 18 thousand tons of potatoes, vegetables and apples will be laid in the stabilization funds of the Brest region
