Working shift Kuryans reminded of the right to a shortened day on November 3

Kuryans working on a shift schedule were reminded of the right to a reduced working day on November 3. This rule applies not only to employees with a five-day working week, but also to those who work in shifts.

This was told by the first Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Labor, Social Policy and Veterans Affairs Svetlana Bessarab. If the shift precedes the festive day, it is reduced by an hour.

An exception is provided only for enterprises with a continuous production cycle. If it is impossible to shorten the shift, the employer is obliged to compensate the employee for additional work time.
