Be more visible – and safer: in Belarus is the action of the traffic police “Time to become noticeable!”
From October 25 to 31, the republican preventive action “Time to Be Noticeable!” is held in the country.

In autumn, the increase in accidents on the roads is largely due to the fact that daylight is getting shorter, and weather conditions are worse. In order to reduce the risks, the republican preventive action “Time to become noticeable!” will be held in the country from October 25 to 31. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Belarus.
The traffic police strengthens control on the roads: inspectors will be more often on duty in places where accidents occur most often. Checks will be held on the streets of cities and towns, on dangerous sections of roads and at pedestrian crossings without traffic lights.
Particularly closely, traffic police officers will monitor the situation during peak hours - at this time many pedestrians and other traffic participants walk along the roads, which are easier to get into trouble. Inspectors will also pay attention to the condition of people on the road.
In parallel with the inspections, the traffic police will continue to tell residents how to behave safer on the road. People will be explained what dangers lie in wait in the dark, reminded why you need reflective elements and clothes that are clearly visible. They will also tell you what responsibility threatens for violation of traffic rules, give advice on how to cross the road correctly, and remind you of the rules of riding on electric scooters and other means of personal mobility.
