Stavropol environmental activists held a Saturday on the banks of rivers and reservoirs of the Kirov district

As part of the action “Water of Russia” in the Kirov district, 10 km of the coastal zone were put in order. The administration of the municipality said that 190 people took part in the general cleaning, which took place on the banks of rivers and reservoirs.

The participants of the action cleared the banks of the rivers Zolka and Nevolka in the village of Komsomolets, villages Zolskaya and Staropavlovskaya. In Novopavlovsk Saturday passed on the river Kura. In the village of Kommayak, eco-activists cleaned up garbage in the pond. In the village of Orlovka and the village of Soviet, the same work was carried out at local reservoirs. In total, 10 km of coastal strips were removed and 130 bags of garbage were collected.
