Volgograd ambulance drivers were awarded medals and certificates
In Volgograd on the Day of the motorist congratulated drivers of ambulances. It depends on their skill how quickly the team will get to the patient and then to the medical institution, how timely assistance will be provided.
The ceremony was held at the circuit of the Central Park of Culture and Recreation. Medals “Best driver of the NSR”, gratitude and diplomas were awarded. The best among his colleagues was Yuri Alexandrovich Stus – the driver of the NSR substation No. 2: he has a record driving experience – 57 years.
According to the regional health service, there are 471 drivers at the Clinical Emergency Medical Station, the youngest is 21 years old. The work requires great responsibility: the timeliness of patient care largely depends on the professionalism and efficiency of the driver. In addition to confident driving, you should be well oriented on the road, know where the medical facilities are, choose the best routes and quickly respond to changes in the situation. Carefulness, concentration and stress resistance are needed.
Drivers work closely with medical teams. If necessary, they help transport patients and solve other organizational tasks.
Note that in 2026 the fleet of the NSR was updated. There were 92 Class B cars and 8 Class C reanimobiles for the most difficult cases. All vehicles are equipped with the necessary medical equipment. Since 2014, medical organizations of the Volgograd region received 441 new cars.
On the holiday, drivers wished good health, well-coordinated work, reliable cars and accident-free roads.
