Doctors of Great Ustyug now perform operations on the heart vessels

The new department of X-ray surgery works in the Velikoustyugsk CRB. A new step in the development of medical care for heart attacks and strokes was told by the Governor of the Vologda region Georgy Filimonov. In Veliky Ustyug, operations are now carried out on the heart vessels.

The hospital purchased new modern equipment: a hemodynamic control station for the patient, an antigraphic system with an operating table, monitors, an inductor for conducting contrast material. They also purchased specialized furniture, consumables, protective clothing for doctors.

The new department works around the clock, conducts scheduled and emergency operations, stening of the coronary arteries and coronary anarchy. There have been four successful interventions. In the future, it is planned to carry out thrombextraction to patients with strokes, operations on the vessels of the legs in atherosclerosis.

There are four doctors on staff. They are helped by the chief freelance angiosurgeon of the region Andrei Moskalev. The work is carried out within the framework of the national project “Long and active life”.
