In the Palace of Culture "Arctic" was held children's ethnic holiday "Around the New Earth with Tyko".
For the young guests, educational and creative platforms worked: drawings and colorings by Nina Novitskaya, a boat with a paddle, riddles, puzzles, Nenets yula pasko, sounds of the Arctic, the search for oleshka Tyko, karbass and a master class on screen printing. Also there was a concert of the group “Haniyko”, reading the book “History Tyko” and drawing prizes.
A separate educational program was waiting for the children at the site of the Russian Geographical Society. Class for them was held by Ekaterina Terentyeva: young guests tried on the role of Russian sailors and explorers of Novaya Zemlya, learned about Cape Dangerous and the Bay of Well-being, Vaigach Island, the climate of the Barents and Kara Seas, Matochkin Shar Strait and Belushya Guba. Separately, they told about the polar explorers of the weather station at Cape Desire: during the Great Patriotic War they repulsed a German submarine.
Ahead is the presentation in the Ethnocultural Center of the NAA of a special issue of the magazine “Punushka”, dedicated to Tyko and his small homeland.
