A resident of the Tver region was sentenced for stealing money

In the Rzhevsk city court considered a criminal case against a local resident, the press service of the court reported.

The citizen in the court session fully admitted guilt in the committed crime and arrepented of what he had done. He was found guilty of committing a crime under paragraph “c” of part 2 of Article 158 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. The citizen was sentenced to a year and a half of suspended imprisonment with a probationary period of one year.

The court also satisfied the civil claim filed by the victim for compensation for property damage caused by the crime.
