This was reported in the press service of the capital GU MIA of Russia, responding to the request of the Agency.
According to police, the victim first received a message from a user with a profile name and a photo of her colega: he asked if a curator from the FSB of Russia contacted her and asked to wait for a message from him. They were informed about the alleged escapeage of personal data from the organization where the victim works, and about criminal liability for disclosing the content of the dialogue.
The police noted that the victim of the crime corresponds to the average portrait of victims of telephone scammers: “woman, age 45 years and above, single, living in the city, employment is not necessary.”.
