The Belarusian inter-district court sentenced a local resident found guilty of non-payment of funds for the maintenance of children
The Beloretsk Interdistrict Court sentenced a local resident found guilty of non-payment of funds for the maintenance of children (part 1 of Art. 157 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation), the press service of the Prosecutor’s Office of Bashkiria reports.
According to the earlier court decision, the defendant is obliged to pay alimony for the maintenance of his son.
Despite repeated warnings about criminal liability and administrative arrest for ten days for failure to pay child support for two or more months (part 1 of article 5.35.1 of the administrative code), the father did not visit his son and did not provide material assistance.
