Belarus ready to increase supplies of meat and dairy products and confectionery to Kamchatka Territory

Today, on September 30, a meeting of the working group on cooperation between Belarus and this region was held in Minsk under the chairmanship of the Minister of Antimonopoly Regulation and Trade Alexander Yakovchitsa and the Chairman of the Government of the Kamchatka Territory of Russia Yulia Morozova. The head of the Ministry of Antimonopoly Regulation and Trade was assigned to the Kamchatka Territory and appointed head of the Belarusian part of the working group. The delegation of the Kamchatka Territory has been working in Minsk for three days. The program of the visit includes participation in the international industrial exhibition INNOPROM. Belarus, visits to the stands of large Belarusian enterprises, as well as study tours to specialized production facilities.
- Each meeting of the working group is of particular importance for our bilateral relations. I want to note its effective role as a permanent negotiating platform, which allows you to adjust the cooperation strategy and determine promising areas of interaction, said Alexander Yakovchits.
According to official statistics for several years, mutual trade shows steady positive dynamics. Real volumes are higher due to the supply of fish and fish products to Belarus and Belarusian equipment to the Kamchatka Territory.
At the same time, Belarus is ready to supply the region with a full range of equipment, special fire equipment, ambulances, combined road vehicles and others. It is proposed to consider the creation in the Kamchatka Territory of a single service center for the implementation and maintenance of Belarusian equipment.
The parties discussed the exchange of experience in the field of seed production and training for agriculture. Belarus is ready to increase supplies of meat and dairy products, confectionery, canned food and baby food. Our country is also interested in increasing the supply of Kamchatka fish products and seafood.
During the meeting, a proposal was made to study the participation of the Belarusian side in the creation of a port logistics center in the Kamchatka Territory to transport Belarusian cargo to the region. Snopkov: the trade turnover of Belarus and the Leningrad region in 2026 may reach $ 1.3 billion
