According to the minister, by the end of the year it is planned to reach production volumes in industry more than 100% by last year, and for exports - 103.4-103.5%. Belarusian enterprises produce 93% of equipment used by domestic agricultural producers: for sowing, harvesting and obtaining products. Such equipment works in both transport and road construction spheres, he stressed.
Speaking about cooperation with Russian enterprises, the minister said that Belarus and Russia should protect the Union market. “The protection of the common market is the development of our own enterprises and competencies, economic security. As an example, the status of “Goods of the Union State” and the State Quality Mark were received by BELAZ dump trucks and MAZ buses. The tractors of the Minsk Tractor Plant use Russian metal and component base. We need to develop cooperation and perceive Belarusian and Russian production as a single whole, he added.
One of the main achievements of the year, the minister called the combined press baler, which was not previously produced in Belarus. It was decided to launch its serial production in 2027, it is planned to produce 50 units. Also in 2026, the tractor MAZ-X went on the roads. It will undergo operational and certification tests, the launch of serial production is scheduled from 2028. Minsk Tractor Plant presented a tractor with a capacity of 540 hp of classical layout. As a result of the tests, it was decided to produce 30 such tractors in 2027 and put them on farms.
Andrei Kuznetsov noted that the main task in the industry is import substitution. “It must be developed in industry, increasing the share of its own production and providing the spheres with domestic equipment,” he said.
The Minister thanked the industry workers for their work and wished good health, new developments and achievements. “We have to release what the market needs and also explore new directions. I am sure that with such teams we will definitely achieve our goals, he concluded.
During the solemn event, an award ceremony was held for the best employees of the organizations of the Ministry of Industry.
