The Belarusian Universal Commodity Exchange and the Foreign Trade Chamber of Kazakhstan will join forces to involve Kazakh business in exchange trade with Belarusian enterprises. Details sb.by reported in the press service of BUCE.

It is expected that the interaction, built on the synergy of capabilities of the two organizations, will not only increase the pool of Kazakh companies using the BUCE platform, but also have a positive impact on the volume of exchange turnover. The agreement on cooperation between the parties was reached following the meeting of Yaroslav Kovalchuk, Head of the Foreign Economic Activity Department of the Belarusian Exchange, with Murat Karimsakov, Chairman of the Board of the Foreign Trade Chamber of Kazakhstan, at a meeting of the Belarusian-Kazakhstan Business Council.
The key areas of joint work will be the promotion of exchange instruments among Kazakhstani exporters and importers, the organization of business events, as well as the search and launch of new promising commodity positions in demand in the markets of the two countries. The parties will pay special attention to simplifying access to BUCE for small and medium-sized enterprises, for which the exchange mechanism can become an effective tool for selling their own products abroad.
- Our task is not just to increase trade between Kazakhstan and Belarus, but to make trade more predictable and transparent. Such opportunities are provided by the exchange platform, which implemented an objective pricing mechanism, there are uniform rules for all participants, and a number of tools that minimize risks have been introduced. Therefore, we intend to systematically inform Kazakhstani business about the advantages of working through the Belarusian exchange, including by organizing online seminars and business missions, said Murat Karimsakov.
In this regard, Yaroslav Kovalchuk stressed the growing interest of Kazakh companies in exchange trading and outlined the priorities of interaction with the Foreign Trade Chamber of Kazakhstan.
- Throughout 2026, we see a steady increase in the activity of Kazakhstani participants. For 9 months, the amount of transactions between Belarusian and Kazakh companies has already exceeded $ 45 million, which is 1.5 times more than in the same period last year. In partnership with the Foreign Trade Chamber of Kazakhstan, we will be able to conduct targeted presentations of exchange instruments for companies from specific industries with confirmed interest in the Belarusian market. Thanks to this, the efficiency of our work with Kazakhstani business circles will significantly increase, the representative of the commodity exchange said.
According to BUCE, Kazakhstan is among the top 10 countries in terms of the number of companies accredited to participate in exchange trading. As of today, there are 228 business entities, 27 of which came to the stock exchange this year.
