The Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Belarus and Kazakhstan make a significant contribution to strengthening mutually beneficial business cooperation. This was stated by the Chairman of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Mikhail Myatlikov at a meeting of the Belarusian-Kazakhstan Business Council within the framework of the business program of the INNOPROM exhibition. Mikhail Myatlikov, in particular, noted:
- It is a great honor for us to meet our partners this time in Minsk as part of the INNOPROM international industrial exhibition. Belarus”. I am pleased to note that our previous meeting was held in Astana last November as part of the visit of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus, and today’s meeting is timed to coincide with the official visit of the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan, and, of course, to the INNOPROM exhibition. Belarus”.
The Chairman of the BelCCI stressed that 21 documents were signed following the results of the previous meeting. He also noted that trade and economic cooperation between Belarus and Kazakhstan demonstrates strong positive dynamics.
- In the first half of 2026, trade between our countries increased by almost 18 percent compared to the same period in 2025. These are not just numbers, they are based on the trust of partners and readiness for joint cooperation. We have established an active participation in the exhibition events of our countries. Thus, in November 2025, the Belarusian exhibition was organized at the 27th Central Asian International Food Industry Exhibition FoodExpo Qazaqstan 2025 in Almaty, which brought together more than 400 companies from 34 countries. This year we also plan to participate Belarusian companies in this exhibition. In turn, Kazakhstan in 2025 took part in the international industrial exhibition INNOPROM, presenting the products of 20 leading enterprises in such industries as mining and metallurgical industry, mechanical engineering, chemical industry, energy and IT industry. This year, Kazakhstan is also represented at the INNOPROM exhibition in Minsk.
Mikhail Myatlikov thanked the partners for their active activities, and also addressed words of gratitude to the Chairman of the Board of the Foreign Trade Chamber of the Republic of Kazakhstan Murat Karimsakov for the friendly partnership in terms of organizing the work of the Business Council and expressed the opinion that today's exchange of views will be meaningful and effective.
