On September 30, Minsk again became the center of attraction for industry representatives from all over the world. For the second year in a row, the Belarusian capital hosts perhaps the most prestigious industrial exhibition INNOPROM in the professional community. Interest in the event is enormous. Representatives of more than 40 countries have registered to participate in the forum. This is almost twice as much as during the debut exhibition last year. The package of signed documents also promises to be impressive. What surprises the visitors and what the participants discuss - gathered all the most interesting about the first day of the event.

- Everyone who wants to know what the industry lives and breathes, I invite you to visit the exhibition and see everything with your own eyes in three days. I am sure that, like last year, INNOPROM in Minsk will be successful, said the program director of INNOPROM. Belarus” Anton Atrashkin.

- For us, every trip to Minsk is a holiday. As organizers of the exhibition, we are interested in making it a regular event in Minsk, Anton Atrashkin said.

They are able to surprise their products at INNOPROM. More than 160 domestic enterprises and organizations represented Belarus. The total area of the national exposition in the pavilion is about 6 thousand square meters, plus 3 thousand “squares” given for the street exposition. And every stand is crowded. It is understandable: enterprises present their latest developments and demonstrate advanced solutions.

Autonomous movement is our own development. The battery capacity is 105 kilowatts. It allows a single-section trolleybus to travel up to 40 kilometers in urban operation. At the exhibition, we plan to carry out a solemn transfer of the trolleybus for trial operation to the Russian city of Samara. In this region there are our trams, but trolleybuses have not been supplied for a long time, said Mikhail Symanovich, General Director of BKM Holding.
The head of the holding shared his expectations from participation in the exhibition:
- It's an active time. Over the past week, we have had many visits and meetings at the company. Partners come and get acquainted with our products. It creates a positive image. We look forward to fruitful negotiations.

Belaz on INNOPROM. Belarus presented the latest developments for the mining industry. In particular, the operator’s workplace for remote control of quarry equipment is demonstrated. Guests of the exhibition can see how the operator from the stand of the enterprise manages a 90-ton robotic dump truck BELAZ-7558R.
The car is hundreds of kilometers away – at the Sitnitsky test site in the Brest region. The dump truck uses computer vision and neural network algorithms to recognize obstacles, predict movement and make decisions on its own. The dispatching system allows one specialist to simultaneously monitor the operation of five autonomous machines. Our consumers are actively interested in robotic and remotely controlled equipment. We are negotiating with a number of key customers to whom we plan to supply BELAZ dump trucks with autonomous control. In autonomous mode, the machine performs a full cycle of tasks - from loading to unloading and returning to the place of loading, said Dmitry Eliseev, Deputy General Designer for the Digitalization of Career Equipment - Head of the Intelligent Career Management Systems Department of BelAZ, the managing company of BelAZ-HOLDING Holding.
Minsk Tractor Plant presented at INNOPROM. Belarus is proud of its tractor BELARUS-5425 with a capacity of 542 hp. It is the second most powerful tractor in the classical layout.
- This technique will optimize the work at large agricultural enterprises. For comparison: in one pass, this tractor can perform the amount of work that is done by about 15 middle-class tractors, said Alexey Shevtsov, Head of the Bureau of Advertising and Organization of Exhibitions at MTZ.

The Russian participants also presented a wide range of industrial solutions at the exhibition: a robotic quality control complex with technical vision, aircraft models, an end-to-end Russian PLM solution for the development of complex machine-building products, an infrastructure for managing unmanned aircraft systems. In addition, they demonstrate the technology of optical analysis and sorting of objects, a tractor for the transportation of heavy and bulky cargo, AI assistants of the designer and technologist and many other industrial developments.
On INNOPROM. Belarus presented a number of joint Belarusian-Russian projects within the framework of the exhibition. In addition to the large-scale and significant nuclear project, the Belarusian NPP, Belarus and Rosatom are implementing a whole list of non-nuclear projects. The comprehensive program of interaction includes more than 60 events. They concern such areas as medicine, energy, digitalization, and many other areas. Within the framework of the international industrial exhibition INNOPROM. Rosatom presented the first Belarusian-Russian 3D printer.
According to Ilya Kavelashvili, General Director of the Additive Technologies business area of the fuel division of Rosatom, the introduction of additive technologies contributes to the transition to a new technological order. Compared to traditional technologies, three-dimensional printing allows you to produce unique products of complex shapes quickly and cost-effectively, on the principle of waste-free production.
As for the joint project, it gives the Russian side the opportunity to expand sales markets, and the Belarusian side - to master the new technology. In addition, it increases the efficiency of the joint product, emphasized Ilya Kavelashvili:
- The first printer has already been assembled and presented at the exhibition. This year, Belarusian colleagues produced key components for it. Starting next year, the production of printers with a field of construction of 100 and 150 millimeters will be fully localized in Belarus, which will become our main production site for this type of printer.
In particular, the small-sized 3D printer RusMelt 150M allows you to produce both accurate parts for units and assemblies, and non-collectible structures. Its compact size, reduced power consumption, reduced gas and powder consumption and, as a result, lower cost make the installation a cost-effective and affordable solution for a wide range of consumers. Printers can be used in those industries where additive technologies have priority, such as rocketry, aircraft, engine building, mechanical engineering, energy and others.
Ilya Kavelashvili also said that Belarus plans to create one of the key production sites.
- In addition to manufacturing the 3D printers themselves, we plan to create the production of auxiliary equipment necessary for this technology, including developing scientific activities – conducting research and training personnel, he said.
Stanislav Levitsky, Director of Rosatom Country Office in Belarus, spoke about the features of the first Belarusian-Russian 3D printer:
- Its main mechanical units, kinematics units and load-bearing structures are developed in Belarus, and the laser system, equipment control system and software are developed in Russia. Our new printer is 60 percent localized for Belarus.
The expert spoke about the prospects of cooperation with Belarus in the field of nuclear medicine:
- With active cooperation with the Ministry of Health and the RSPC of Oncology and Medical Radiology named after N. N. Alexandrov, the concept of the Center for Nuclear Medicine, which can be created in Belarus, is being worked out. Design and estimate documentation is being prepared, a list of equipment is being compiled. We collected and carefully analyzed the needs of the Belarusian health care system and doctors, assessed from the point of view of the economy. We hope that by the end of the year we will be able to sign a roadmap for the project.
At the exhibition, you can see a universal frontal mini-loader with a side turn on the tracked course of the Kovrov Electromechanical Plant, in the production of which the engines of the Minsk Motor Plant are used.
In addition to Belarus and the regions of Russia, the exhibition presents stands of Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, as well as new participating countries - Iran and Cambodia.
- Our expectations are positive. We hope to strengthen cooperation with Belarus in industry. Various products and commercial offers were brought to the exhibition in Minsk. Of particular interest is the interaction on railway topics. We plan to start practical implementation of mutually beneficial cooperation immediately after the forum. The strengthening of partnership in the automotive industry is also of interest, said Deputy Minister of Industry and Construction of Kazakhstan Olzhas Saparbekov.

Traditionally, INNOPROM is accompanied by a rich business program. In particular, a meeting of heads of chambers of commerce and industry of the CIS countries is planned. Its main theme is congress and exhibition activities. During the exhibition, a meeting of the Belarusian-Kazakhstan Business Council and the Belarusian-Kyrgyz Business Council will be held. The central event is INNOPROM. Belarus will be the main plenary session “Production and Technology Cooperation: Complementary Partnership”, which will be held on October 1 with the participation of the heads of government of five countries: Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan. Participants will discuss the development of the Eurasian industrial partnership, the integration of production chains and the launch of joint high-tech projects.

- Robotization helps Belarusian enterprises reduce the labor intensity of production, said Deputy Minister of Industry Alexey Kozlov. Member States of the Eurasian Economic Union join forces to create technological sovereignty and competitive products in the field of robotics through a single integration agenda. An interstate program on industrial robotics has been developed and is being coordinated. It provides for the formation of a joint strategy for the development of robotization by the EAEU member countries. Robotics gradually takes on heavy and monotonous processes, improving the working conditions of workers and reducing the complexity of operations. About 40 percent of welded seams are made by robots at BelAZ.
By 2030, the President of Belarus has set a goal to almost ten times increase the density of robotics in Belarus and reach the number of at least 100 robotic systems per 10 thousand workers employed in the manufacturing industry.
Presidential Decree No. 198 was adopted, a fundamental document for the development of the robotics industry of the country. The document creates conditions for state support for those interested in the introduction of robots, the development of robotic systems, software for them and integrated solutions based on them, the Deputy Minister of Industry added. The introduction of robots into production processes is an important condition for technological leadership and preserving the export potential of any country.
Experts also discussed the production of machine tools in the Union State. Director of Stanko Gomel Andrey Zheleznyakov told about the project in detail. Since 2022, the company has been actively developing the production of machine tools from components of Belarusian and Russian production.
- In 2024, we presented the modernized machine at the exhibition of metalworking in Moscow. It has received positive feedback and is successfully used in such enterprises as MTZ and MAZ. We also cooperate with Gomselmash and other companies. In the past two years, we have continued to increase the share of domestic components. In the universal cantilever and milling machine, we have already reached 97-100% localization of components of Belarusian and Russian production.

Effective use of human resources on the sidelines of the exhibition was discussed by the participants of the section “Personnel as the basis of stability and efficiency of industry: skills and retraining against shortage”.
As it was noted, in conditions of high involvement of the population in the labor market, and in Belarus and Russia low unemployment, the effective use of human resources is of particular importance: the development of competencies, professional retraining and the development of new professions. In the second quarter of 2026, the unemployment rate in Belarus was 2.1 percent, and the employment rate of the population aged 15-74 years was 69 percent.
According to Svetlana Shaporova, director of the online recruitment service, according to the platform’s research, today the Belarusian market is experiencing a great need for workers:
- If we look at the share of vacancies of working staff, we note that it occupies the largest niche. That's 26 percent of the total. That is, most of our employers in Belarus are now looking for working staff. In fifth place are personnel for production, their share is also quite significant - 13.7 percent.
Svetlana Shaporova stressed that the need for workers is only growing. One of the reasons for this shortage, the expert called the demographic pit of the 1990s. In the current situation, according to the speaker, it is logical to focus on retraining and pay attention to the older age group of potential employees.
According to her, more than 80 percent of applicants in all age groups are ready to retrain.
- Including 82.9 percent of applicants over 45 are ready to retrain, she continued. At the same time, most applicants of all age groups expect that the employer will pay for their training and will guarantee employment.
During the meeting, the participants discussed the issues of retraining, in particular, how to distribute responsibility and investment between the state, business and employee; how to adapt the labor market and the training system to the needs of beginners, experienced workers and older employees; whether the development of the second and third careers can become an effective tool for expanding the human resources potential of the industry.

International industrial cooperation and exports require new approaches to finding partners and more effective models for creating joint technological chains and industries. Businesses located in the CIS face constant risks on the external circuit. However, the heads of industrial business create and develop sustainable export models not only for the output of products abroad, but also for the formation of extraterritorial industrial sites with proven counterparties. To discuss these and other issues within the framework of the INNOPROM business program. The session of the section “Export architecture: international business and successful models of cooperation” was held.
During the event, in particular, Chairman of the Board of the Association "Mechanical Cluster of the Republic of Tatarstan" Sergey Mayorov noted that the business association of clusters of Russia today has more than 1,500 organizations and enterprises from 15 countries and 68 subjects of the Russian Federation:
- We have 23 industry committees, each of which is the largest association of the Russian Federation, where large, medium and small businesses jointly develop projects and form comprehensive proposals for near and far abroad countries. Our industry committees include companies from other countries. Of course, the fraternal Republic of Belarus is in the first place, the People’s Republic of China is in the second place, and the Republika Srpska is in the third place. Today we support projects from 14 regions and two countries of the world.
He also noted that in order to increase the competitiveness of future products, the cluster forms promotion centers.
In Russia at the end of this year, the share of e-commerce in the retail market is about 24 percent, in Belarus - more than 14 percent. This was noticed by the director of Ozon Belarus Sergey Gasoyan.
He stressed that today Ozon is present in many EAEU countries, and added that the Republic of Belarus was the first country where Ozon went outside the Russian Federation.
The Director of Ozon Belarus noted that when visiting any country, and in particular Belarus, they were first of all puzzled by the issue of developing local entrepreneurship, for this purpose huge funds are invested in the development of infrastructure:
- We invest huge funds in the development of entrepreneurship not only from the point of view of the advantage of sellers, but also in the development of points of delivery of orders, because today it contributes to the penetration of e-commerce both in large cities and in small settlements, which is greatly facilitated by the state.
Sergey Gasoyan voiced the opinion that, despite all the difficulties that exist today, the growth of e-commerce itself is almost impossible to stop.

From words to action The first day of work "INNOPROM". Belarus is remembered for signing a number of agreements. Thus, Gazprom Transgaz Belarus and the flagship of the Belarusian automotive industry MAZ signed a cooperation agreement. The document provides for the development of information and technological interaction between companies, the consolidation of their technical potential and the implementation of joint projects. One of the key areas of the partnership will be the expansion of the production of gas engine equipment.
