Support of the Union State Products was discussed at the Scientific Expert Council under the Standing Committee of the CIS

One of the topics for discussion at the meeting of the Scientific and Expert Council under the Standing Committee of the Union State, which took place on October 2, was the Union State Products and its role in industrial cooperation between the two countries. The participants discussed the prospects of this product and measures to support it, writes sb.by.

- One of the most important topics we are working on today is, of course, the promotion of the Union State Goods brand, she stressed. To date, the entire regulatory framework, the register, access to which is open to the subjects of our two countries, has been created. About 15 positions have already been registered.

According to Ella Selitskaya, the products of MAZ, BELAZ enterprises were included here.

- Today, we are working with Belarusian manufacturers to really fill this register, so that the citizens of our states understand that we produce very high-quality products in the Union State.

By the way, pilot groups of goods have been formed - their four categories, including buses, trucks, machines and microelectronics.

- We are working with the regulators of the two countries, primarily the Ministry of Industry of the Republic of Belarus and the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, to expand this list. We have gathered preliminary information, but this is still under discussion, said the Deputy Secretary of State, a member of the Standing Committee. We are considering attracting not only the industrial group, but also the products of such concerns as Bellegprom and Belneftekhim. Active work is underway to really expand this group in 2027. But we must understand that in order to get into this register, certain criteria must be met. Therefore, for each group of goods, such criteria should also be defined.

- A regulation is being prepared on the procedure for subsidizing products in the status of “Goods of the Union State”. That is, the complex task is to make sure that such products are known and that our producers can successfully export these goods, including to third countries, she said.
