After the death of a Russian in the pool during training, a case was opened

After the death of a 19-year-old young man in a pool in Nalchik, investigators of the Investigative Committee for Kabardino-Balkaria opened a criminal case on the fact of providing services that do not meet safety requirements.

According to investigators, on October 19, 2026, a suspect born in 1983, who worked as a touristming trainers in one of the pools of Nalchik, during training with a local resident born in 2007, did not provide visual control and safe conditions for the provision of services. This, as established by the investigation, led to a long stay of the victim under water and his death as a result of drowning.
