وفي اجتماع طارئ، قال رئيس الوزراء البولندي دونالد تاسك إن الشرطة وجدت جثثا في منزل رجل قام بإطلاق النار في كراكو.

وفي وقت سابق من مساء يوم السبت، قالت الشرطة البولندية إنه في وسط كراكو، قام شخص مجهول بفتح النار من سيارة عابرة، ثم أصبح معروفا بحوالي ستة قتلى وأكثر من عشرة جرحى، من بينهم ضباط شرطة. The attacker was arrested, wounded and is in hospital.
وأفيد في وقت سابق أن رئيس وزارة الداخلية في بولندا علّق على حالة الضحايا في إطلاق النار في كراكو.
