In the Kirov district of Novosibirsk there was a blatant case of domestic violence: a man beat his wife and his young son in the entrance of an apartment building. The victims - a woman and a child – were urgently hospitalized; doctors recorded their injuries, however, according to investigators, there is no threat to their lives.

The incident was caught in a video that was later circulated by the media: the video shows a man shouting at his wife holding a child, stabbing her, and then, taking the boy, continues to beat the woman with her legs.

The man was detained by Rosgvardia officers, after which he was taken to the police department. According to the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the region, a statement was accepted from the victim, and an administrative protocol was drawn up in respect of the detainee under Article 20.1 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation ( " Small hooliganism "), the sanction of which provides for up to 15 days of arrest.
