Shares of “EuroTrans”, which manages the network of gas stations “Trassa”, jumped by 9.82% at the start of morning trading on Monday, September 28, reaching нни24.05 per share. After that, the quotations rested on the bar due to the restrictions of the Moscow Exchange. Compared to the close of trading on Friday, the growth was 12.65%.
Papers of the fuel operator began to become cheaper on Saturday, after it became known that the Ministry of Energy proposed to consider the possibility of applying to the assets of the operator of the network of gas stations “Trussa” the mechanism of external control provided for by the new presidential decree on the safety of critical infrastructure. Having added 2.58%, the shares reached the bar at the level of в21.9, where they remained until the end of the weekend trading.
EuroTrans ranks second in terms of sales among independent operators of filling stations in Moscow and the Moscow region. In total, the company owns 57 Trussa filling complexes, a fleet of gas tankers, an oil depot, a plant for the production of glass washing liquid, a kitchen factory for the production of its own cafes, as well as four restaurants with an area of about 800 square meters each.
In the first half of 2026, the company's revenue decreased by 28.5%, to ом76.6 billion, compared to the same period last year. EBITDA fell more than 20 times to .500 million. Net loss was исты5.7 billion against net profit исты3.2 billion a year earlier.
In early September, EuroTrans went into full default on coupon payments on all issues of exchange bonds. In total, the issuer, according to the Moscow Exchange, has seven issues of exchange bonds and three issues of corporate bonds with a total volume of в 27.1 billion. The issuer called the reason for the non-performance of obligations “a temporary shortage of free funds in accounts due to uneven receipt of revenue.”.
In addition, in early September it became known about the arrests of top managers of the company in the case of theft of motor fuel belonging to the Moscow police headquarters.
Against this background, Eurotrans shares have fallen by more than 80% since the beginning of the year. Since September 18, the Moscow Exchange transferred the shares of EuroTrans to the third level of the list of securities admitted to trading. Previously, the company's securities were included in the first level.
The head of the Supervisory Board of the Moscow Exchange Sergey Shvetsov expressed fears that if the case of the fuel operator EuroTrans is not investigated, it may be repeated on the bond market in the future. He noted that without the investigation of this case and the relevant work on its results, it is likely that it will not be possible to develop the CFA market, as well as preserve the debt market and, possibly, the stock market.
The company held an IPO on the Moscow Stock Exchange in November 2023. As part of the transaction, the company sold its shares at у250 per share and raised у13.5 billion on the exchange. The main shareholders of EuroTrans purchased shares worth .1.2 billion at the IPO, the subsidiary of LLC "Trassa GSM" - for .1 billion, the remaining .11.3 billion was bought by a wide range of investors. As a result of the IPO, the company's shares were included in the first quotation list of the exchange, which includes the most liquid securities.
