The weekend fair is held in the Moscow district on the street. Y. Brylya, 5, reports the correspondent of the agency “Minsk-Novosti”.
Buyers come here for fresh seasonal vegetables and fruits, homemade pickles, fragrant honey and other products directly from manufacturers.
A family contractor from the Drogichinsky district of the Brest region has been selling its own products here for the second year. The whole family works at two points: one sells nuts and pickles, and the second sells meat and dairy products. The assortment includes sauerkraut and cabbage with cranberry, salted and low-salted cucumbers, carrots in Korean, peppers, meat delicacies (lard, cold and hot smoked korea), cottage cheese and cheeses, as well as self-grown nuts.

Elena Gluzd from Slonim district sells the products of the family apiary in the third generation: honey, honeycomb, pergu, pollen, propolis, wax candles, bonbonbonierki. To the questions of buyers, whether the products of their own production, Elena answers that everything has documents. Sellers wishing to participate in the fair are obliged to provide a certificate to the district administration confirming that the products sold are produced or grown on the land plot located in the country. This requirement applies to all individuals trading on such sites.

Freshness and quality of products is one of the main advantages of the fair. The second important advantage is walking distance: there are many residents of nearby houses among buyers.
- It is very convenient that you do not need to go to the other end of the area, the market is literally five minutes walk from home. Today I came for pepper and corn, and I leave with nuts and honey of the last collection. I approached the tent with honey out of interest, but offered to try - I could not resist and bought it. This is convenient: immediately on the spot you can make sure that you buy fresh and tasty goods, said a resident of one of the houses on the street. Alibegova.
Other buyers pay attention to the variety: everyone can find what they like for taste and price. On the shelves a large selection of potatoes, carrots, tomatoes, peppers, onions, apples, pears, plums. Nearby - flowers, pumpkin, zucchini, eggplant, nuts, fresh greens, beans. Individual outlets offer fresh fish, cranberries and meat products.

Prices at the fair remain affordable and noticeably lower than in many stores. Onions can be bought for 1.50-2 BYN per kg, white cabbage - from 2.5 to 3 BYN, beets - from 1.2 to 2 BYN. Pumpkin will cost 1.5-2 BYN per kg, apples, depending on the variety - from 1.5 to 3.5 BYN. Nuts offer 10 BYN per kg, butter - 19.90 BYN. Among pickles, carrots in Korean are popular - 7.30 BYN per kg. Pickled garlic and pickled peppers sell for 2.50 BYN per 100g. You can buy a homemade veneer for 32 BYN per kg. Tomatoes cost 3.50 to 5.50 BYN per kg, peppers 4 to 6 BYN, beans 12 to 15 BYN.
