Russian tour operators do not expect a decrease in prices for family tours to Egypt before the autumn school holidays, said the Association of tour operators of Russia (ATOR). Those who are interested in certain travel dates or specific hotels were advised not to wait for burning tours.
According to the association, a week-long tour to Egypt for a family of three with accommodation in a 3* hotel on the all-inclusive system now costs from 196 thousand rubles.
ATOR explained that burning offers may appear, but, most likely, for less popular hotels.
According to tour operators, closer to the holidays, the choice of rooms in Egypt’s popular hotels on the Red Sea will significantly decrease. We are talking, in particular, about hotels chains Rixos, Sunrise, Jaz and Pickalbatros. With air tickets, the situation is calmer: according to “Russian Express”, in the free sale of them is still enough.
In early August, it was reported that the demand of wealthy tourists was redistributed in favor of Egypt due to the fact that premium holidays in the Middle East, primarily in the UAE, was not available. At the same time, experts pointed to the difference between the luxury in Egypt and other popular resorts.
Rest in Egypt will become more expensive and due to the increase in visa prices, from January 1, 2027, a single-entry tourist visa will increase in price to $ 39. Winter holidays are also getting more expensive: ATOR Vice President Artur Muradyan told Radio RBC that hoteliers raised winter prices by 10-30%.
