IV International Conference on Forensic Expert Activities in Minsk
The IV International Scientific and Practical Conference “The Role and Importance of Forensic Expertise and Forensic Expertise in Ensuring National Security” has started in Minsk.

The IV International Scientific and Practical Conference “The Role and Importance of Forensic Expert Activities and Forensic Expertise in Ensuring National Security” has started its work in Minsk, the correspondent of the Minsk-Novosti agency reports.

The event was organized under the auspices of the State Committee of Forensic Examinations by the Scientific and Practical Center of the Expert Office.
- Over the years, the conference has rightfully established itself as an authoritative discussion platform, where new ideas are born, scientific experience and opinions are exchanged, said Alexey Volkov, Chairman of the State Committee of Forensic Examinations. Scientific and technical progress, the introduction of new types of expertise, modern methods and technologies contribute to the improvement of forensic activities. This is directly related to the protection of national interests, the constitutional rights of citizens and the strengthening of law and order.



The conference is held in order to exchange scientific and practical experience on topical issues of forensics and forensic examination, improve scientific, methodological and information support of forensic expert activities, improve the scientific level and quality of forensic examinations, as well as develop cooperation in the fields of science and law enforcement practice.
The plenary session was attended by representatives of the State Secretariat of the Security Council, the Constitutional Court, the Prosecutor General’s Office, the Investigative Committee, the Presidium of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, the Secretariat of the All-Belarusian People’s Assembly, the National Center for Legislation and Legal Information, educational institutions and other state bodies, as well as representatives of the scientific and expert community of Belarus, China, Russia and Uzbekistan.


The conference presents expositions of special scientific, methodological and reference literature, technical means and equipment that are used for examinations and scientific research.
In three thematic sections, presentations on various expert areas will be heard. A collection of conference materials has been published.

The contest “Tribune of a Young Scientist” is also planned, which is held to attract young scientists to carry out scientific research on topical issues of forensic examination, develop the scientific initiative of researchers, stimulate creative activity, and draw attention to the intellectual potential of forensic activities.

The foreign guests noted the high level of organization of the event, and also thanked the leadership of the State Committee for the opportunity to take part in the conference, discuss topical issues of ensuring national security, exchange positive experience in introducing advanced expert technologies.
