Investigators have put forward three versions of the fire on the ship “Triumph”
Investigators are considering three versions of the occurrence of an emergency on the fishing vessel Triumph in the waters of the Pacific Ocean in Kamchatka.

Investigators are considering three versions of the occurrence of an emergency on the fishing vessel Triumph in the waters of the Pacific Ocean in Kamchatka. This was reported by the press service of the Eastern MUSUT IC of Russia.
The fire on the ship on September 25 could occur due to a technical malfunction of electrical equipment, violation of fire safety rules by crew members and violation of the rules of technical operation of the vessel, the investigation believes.
A fire on a fishing vessel became the reason for initiating a criminal case on charges of violating traffic safety rules and operating sea transport. The head of the Investigative Committee of Russia Alexander Bastrykin earlier requested a detailed report on the incident.
“Shipping, fire-technical forensic examinations are appointed, other investigative actions are carried out aimed at establishing the circumstances and causes of the incident,” the IC of Russia said.
The fire on the "Triumph" occurred on September 25 in the waters off the southern coast of Kamchatka, east of Cape Khojalaik. There were 29 crew members on board. They evacuated on life rafts, after which 25 sailors were picked up by the passing ship Perseus.
The whereabouts of four other crew members have not yet been determined. In the area of drift of the emergency vessel, search and rescue operations with the involvement of sea vessels are continuing.
All those rescued were taken to Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky. Some of them suffered serious injuries.
