The Ministry of Education of Russia presented a bill aimed at simplifying and accelerating the process of registration of custody. The document proposes to reform this process by introducing digital services and strengthening electronic interaction between departments.
The bill provides for the transfer of part of guardianship services to electronic format. If the initiative successfully passes all readings and is accepted, the application for appointment as a guardian or trustee, a report on the storage and use of the property of the ward, as well as an application for exemption from duties can be submitted through the Single portal of public services.
“The processing of documents will be carried out within the framework of the created service in the field of guardianship and guardianship,” the press service of the Ministry of Education said.
To increase the efficiency and reliability of information, it is planned to expand interagency electronic data exchange. Currently, information about a guardian candidate is requested separately, but digital interaction will speed up the process.
Also, the Ministry of Education plans to expand the database on children left without parental care, adding information about parents, living conditions and documents of children. This will make it possible to better coordinate the work of the guardianship and guardianship bodies, to update the data in time.
In addition, the Ministry proposed to take into account the opinion of children over ten years old in the questions of whether it is possible to publish information about them in the media.
Earlier, the authorities of the Moscow region simplified obtaining permits from the guardianship and guardianship authorities for transactions with real estate of minors. These services are fully translated into electronic form. Applicants are now required to submit a minimum number of documents. In particular, you will no longer need certificates from the Ministry of Internal Affairs, extracts from the USRN or USRLE, documents from the registry office, registration data and passports. All these documents are requested by the Agency in automatic mode.
