Police shot a bear at a summer cottage in Krasnoyarsk

In Krasnoyarsk, police officers killed an aggressive bear who was walking in the suburban area in SNT. This was reported on October 2 by the regional headquarters of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

In the evening of September 30, the police department of Krasnoyarsk received a message from a local resident about a meeting with a wild beast. The woman said that on the territory of the garden non-profit partnership “Royev brook” in the Sverdlovsk district of the city, a large bear walks and breaks an apple tree.

The police, together with the staff of Regardie promptly arrived at the cottage in the garden partnership. They caught the bear in place. The animal moved towards the police, so they had to shoot him.

None of the citizens and police officers were injured, the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Krasnoyarsk Territory specified.

The Investigative Committee in the Krasnoyarsk Territory is investigating a criminal case of negligence that resulted in the death of two or more persons by negligence (Part 3 of Art. 293 of the Criminal Code). As of September 23, according to the Ministry, the victims of bear attacks in the region were already six people. As part of the investigation, searches were conducted in the Ministry of Natural Resources and Forest Complex of the Krasnoyarsk Territory.

On the morning of September 25, in the Krasnoyarsk Territory, a bear killed another person. The victim of a wild animal was a 51-year-old resident of the village of Voznesenka of the Irbey-Sayan municipal district. She met a predator on her backyard.
