Excursion, gymnastics, concert: what will be prepared in the Minsk Zoo for the Day of the Elderly

Elderly people will be able to visit Minsk Zoo for free on October 1. This was told to the correspondent of the Minsk-Novosti agency in the educational department of the institution.

On the International Day of Older Persons from 10:00 to 19:00 upon presentation of a pension certificate for holidaymakers of golden age, admission is free. Those who want to walk around the zoo with a guide are waiting at the main entrance, near the stage, at 10:00.

From 11:00 will start working interactive platforms. "Editorial office of the newspaper "Shapoklyak" will give visitors their periodicals. The Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Factory District of Minsk will prepare a variety of activities: from fitting combat uniforms to board games. An employee of the canine division of the Department of Protection of the Ministry of Internal Affairs will come to the zoo with a service dog, which will demonstrate different teams. The library-branch No. 3 named after V.V. Mayakovsky and the library-branch No. 11 will bring books and prepare an entertainment and educational program. The territorial center of social services of the population of the Zavodsk district will organize a fair of gypsum products and hold a master class on knitting. The work of the sites will be completed at 15:00.

From 12:00 to 13:30, visitors will enjoy a music program with the participation of young performers of the Aura School of Stars. The artists will perform in the framework of the Republican action “Believe in yourself”.

At 14:00, the Center for Physical Culture and Health Work of Zavodsky will hold health gymnastics.

The organizers added that in case of adverse weather conditions, the program can be changed.
