Historical heritage and ecotechnologies: which university is recognized as the most environmentally friendly in Belarus

According to the Ministry of Education, 14 universities of the country took part in the study. In total, the world ranking included 2,016 universities from 110 countries.
Polotsk State University not only topped the list of domestic universities, but also took the 644th place in the world standings. It is worth noting that the historical collegium in Polotsk demonstrates a careful attitude to cultural heritage with the introduction of modern eco-technologies, and the educational and scientific campus in Mesopotamia harmoniously fit into the forest park zone.
In addition, high scores the university brought the Novopolotsk complex. Experts assessed the development of transport infrastructure, the availability of bicycle parking and an effective system of separate waste collection.
In total, six Belarusian higher educational institutions entered the top 1000 of the world environmental rating.
