In Minsk, work has been completed to restore the roof of a residential building on the street. Lenin, who suffered a serious fire in June. About the details of the work performed on the air of the program “Speaks and shows Minsk” on “Radio-Minsk” told the General Director of GPO “Minskstroy” Anatoly Vederchik, reports the correspondent of the Agency “Minsk-Novosti”.

According to A. Vederchik, emergency measures were taken immediately after the fire.

- All our organizations responded to put temporary roofing first and prevent flooding of apartments. We put five organizations: all our trusts and Minskremstroy — and managed in just 10 days, — said the General Director of Minskstroy.

He noted that all work on the new roof has been completed.

- The drawings of the 1950s, when the house was being built, were taken, on the basis of which the project was executed. We built in parallel, and the designers finished some components, because since that time there were changes, including in the norms of construction, explained A. Vederchik.

In addition to roof installation, the builders insulated the roof and repaired the ventilation shafts. Now experts are inspecting the building to prepare it for further work.

- Next year there will be a major renovation of the house. Our organizations will also deal with it, added the general director of Minskstroy.
