Karaev: Dazhynki is a tribute to those who invest their strength in their native land every day

Today, on September 26, Korelichi turned into the main festive platform of the Grodno region. On the stage rise advanced harvest, receive well-deserved awards for hard work, writes sb.by.

- When we started preparing for this holiday, we set ourselves a simple but important task: to make changes felt not only in the center of Korelic, on the main square, but in every courtyard, on every street. As a result, a lot has been achieved: roads have been repaired, facades have been put in order, social facilities have been updated so that people can live comfortably and comfortably, raise children, work, so that young people see the future and stay on their native land. And most importantly, these changes are taking place against the backdrop of intense, truly heroic work in the fields.

Agricultural organizations of the region threshed more than 1 million 485 thousand tons of grain and legumes in bunker weight. The average yield this year was almost 50 centners per hectare – and this is the best result in the republic. Harvest once again confirmed that Grodno farmers are able to grow and harvest crops, despite the surprises of the weather. The secret of this result is hard work, dedication and the ability to adapt flexibly to changing conditions, apply modern approaches and not to give in to difficulties. That is why this festival is not just a summing up of the agricultural year and an occasion to come together. This is a tribute to those who invest their strength in their native land every day. Recognition that the work of the grain grower is the basis of our well-being, the support of the economy and the guarantee of food independence of the country. I sincerely thank all the best representatives of their collectives gathered here and all the workers of the region without exception for conscientious work, perseverance and complete dedication, for not being afraid of difficulties and bringing what you started to the end.
