Belarusian forestry begins autumn forest planting

Belarusian forestry began autumn planting of forests. This sb.by reported in the press service of the Ministry of Forestry.

The first autumn crops have already been created in the forest farms of Vitebsk and Mogilev regions. The first 30 hectares have been restored. In parallel, the addition of plantations is actively carried out in the industry. This work has begun in all areas. Together, forest crops have been added to 735 hectares.

- Recall that the main volumes of reforestation in the industry do in the spring. In autumn, forestry enterprises are mainly focused on supplementing previously created forest crops, the press secretary of the Ministry of Forestry Anastasia Matskevich drew attention.

All Belarusians are given the opportunity to participate in the restoration of forests. The autumn stage of the action “Give the forest a new zhyzzo!” will be held from October 17 to 24. Emphasis will be placed on the restoration of areas affected by strong hurricane winds and drying plantations.
