Shuvaev and Murashko discussed the development of health care in the Belgorod region

Belgorod Region Governor Alexander Shuvaev met with Russian Health Minister Mikhail Murashko. They discussed key areas of development of this sphere in the region and measures of federal support.

The parties considered the modernization of primary care, preferential drug provision, equipping hospitals and updating the ambulance fleet. Special attention was paid to the health of minors, as well as assistance to affected adults and children.

“We work together to ensure the availability and quality of care for each family. I thank Mikhail Albertovich for a constructive dialogue, attention to the needs of Belgorod residents and readiness to help, the head of the region said.

The governor added that Belgorod authorities will continue systematic work to ensure that medical care is affordable, timely and high-quality.
