“A completely different level”: what was shown to guests from Ulyanovsk in the military-patriotic club “Lynx”

The delegation of the Ulyanovsk region visited the Minsk city military-patriotic club "Lynx" on September 30, the correspondent of the agency "Minsk-Novosti".

The delegation included 50 children, including leaders of the First Movement, activists of military-patriotic clubs, youth workers, schoolchildren - winners of all-Russian competitions and Olympiads, students of colleges and technical schools. For young people, a sightseeing tour was held, which began with laying flowers at the monument to corporal Nikolai Zakharov, who is forever enrolled in the lists of the military unit.

The guests were greeted by the Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs – Commander of Internal Troops Major General Nikolai Karpenkov. He noted that the children are met in Belarus as relatives and shared a personal story connecting him with Ulyanovsk.

- Today we will show you the real, everyday life of our military-patriotic club "Lynx" on the basis of military unit 3214 - without ostentatious pathos, - said Karpenkov. According to the decree of the Head of State, 24 such clubs were created in the internal troops, where thousands of boys and girls are engaged. Officers and special forces teach them fire and tactical training, medicine, drone control and hand-to-hand combat. This is not just leisure - it is a whole system of education and social elevator: our graduates receive benefits when entering universities of power profile, become cadets, officers and a reliable support for the protection of the Fatherland.

Deputy Chairman of the Minsk City Executive Committee Andrey Strigelsky also addressed the youth, who stressed that Minsk and Ulyanovsk are twin cities that have a lot in common.

Russian youth is the closest to us. These days, we are proud to show guests the sights of the capital, the best educational institutions and the experience of the military-patriotic club "Lynx" on the basis of military unit 3214, - said A. Strigelsky. Minsk supports cooperation with sister cities of Russia in the fields of education, science, healthcare and industry. Our delegations regularly participate in joint forums. Recently, Minsk youth visited Yekaterinburg. Such cooperation will only grow, because Minsk will become the youth capital of the CIS next year. We are already preparing a large-scale series of international meetings for young professionals, activists, students of military-patriotic clubs and other youth representatives.

After the breeding, the guys divided into groups and went to classes, as do the pupils of the military-patriotic club “Lynx”. The program included medical, fire and physical training, as well as laser tag and unmanned aerial vehicle control. At each of the venues, peers showed guests from Russia what they learned themselves.

Minsk captivated me from the first minutes - a very beautiful, clean and impressive city! I remember climbing to the observation deck of the National Library, which offers a stunning view. But the most important thing is how warm we are received everywhere, said Alina Chernykh, a student of the Ulyanovsk College of Nutrition and Trade. In the military unit 3214 we conducted a practice in tactical medicine. We practiced the imposition of harnesses - these skills we passed in the technical school in the lessons of the basics of security and protection of the homeland. But working them out here with the professionals is a whole other level.
