In Mogilev, the best garbage truck driver in the region was chosen

On the territory of the regional organizational structure of DOSAAF in Mogilev, the anniversary competition of professional skills “Mogilev Master” among employees of housing and communal services in the region was held. 16 representatives of housing and communal services organizations from all over the Mogilev region competed for the title of the best in the profession. This was told to the correspondent of sb.by in the regional association of trade unions.

The contest has become a good tradition. Its format is time-tested and has not changed over the years: first theory, then practice. Participants demonstrated knowledge of the rules of the road and the technical device of the car in computer tests, where for every incorrect answer and every extra second penal points were awarded. And the culmination was a test of driving skills: on the site, fenced with light trauma-safe racks, drivers passed the track with elements that require jewelry accuracy.

They performed on a serial MAZ garbage truck with a rear load - a technique familiar to them from their daily work. The winner was determined by the lowest amount of penalty points: both theory and composure at the wheel were equally important. By the way, only drivers with an impeccable reputation were allowed to compete - without an accident due to their own fault and discipline violations over the past year.

- We are still asleep, and you are on your way: in the heat, in the cold, in the rain, and in the snow. Every day, in any weather, you do something simple and great. It is thanks to you that we live in a clean and beautiful country. The professional skills competition is one of the great opportunities to hone your skills, show your skills and once again look at the safety of your work. After all, behind every precise maneuver there are both experience and responsibility.

According to the First Deputy General Director of the State Association "Housing and Communal Services of the Mogilev Region" Nikolai Listopadov, the industry updates equipment and relies on professionals:

- We try to buy for you the latest garbage trucks that are produced in our country today. I think you've noticed that. This year, the region is buying 18 more cars.

Pavel Karchevsky from the Osipovichi UCP utilities behind the wheel of a garbage truck for the ninth year, but participated in the competition for the first time, before the start of the tests shared his impressions:

The obstacle course is simple, I think I can handle it. The car is familiar to me - I work on almost the same, only newer.

According to the results of all tests, Vitaly Zhdanovich, a representative of the Mogilev City Communal Unitary Specialized Automobile Enterprise, was recognized as the best driver of the Mogilev garbage truck. He was awarded the title “Winner of the X regional industry competition of professional skills “Mogilev Master” by profession garbage truck driver”.

The second place is taken by Oleg Nestratenko from Krichevsky Unitary Municipal Enterprise “Kommunalnik”. Closed the top three prize-winners Vladislav Stamplievsky, driver of the open joint-stock company "Special Enterprise" from Bobruisk.
